Q: I know it lights up when you push it in (as does the emergency flasher) but what I want to know is are these buttons supposed to be lit when NOT pushed in; i.e., when you are driving at night. Already checked the dimmer, that's not the issue: all other internal lights are at max brightness. Already read the owner's manual -- and it only says that there IS a light there -- which is right: there's a light that comes on WHEN THE BUTTON IS PUSHED. What I was asking is if the button is also lit when it ISN'T pushed, i.e., so you can see the hazard and defrost buttons at night to push them.:-) Thanks.
A: I don't think they light up when not pushed in. Haven't in my g20 since I bought it :) It's kind of a pain when driving at night, but I've been driving the car so long I just know where the buttons are.
