Q: Would like to know if anyone else has experienced a loss of speed. While driving 60mph down an interstate my car all of a sudden began loosing steam. Went from 60 to 25 in a blink. Dealership said that it was connected to the powertrain, then today told me that it was a "fuel intake". I am a female and I am clueless what they are saying. I would just like my car back and would like to know what cost I should expect to pay.
A: When your vehicle lost power, did the check engine light come on?? If it did, take it in to the dealer and have them check it. I think you have a electronic throttle body that needs to be replaced. There is a TSB on this 08-FL-004-1, that says if you have a check engine light on for a couple of different codes (P2106, P1295 and P2135) you need to replace the elec throttle body. I see this on alot of Sonatas and Azera's. This should be covered under your 5/60 warranty.
