Q: I am looking for a vehicle which I can take camping and load with bicycles and gear for kayaking. It's important that the car have lots of space for cargo and can fit my dog comfortably. It's also important to me that the car get somewhat good gas mileage and can handle rough roads. Is the Element the best choice, or is there something out there with equal cargo space but better mileage? My dream car is the FJ Cruiser, but I need something less expensive. Anyone own an Element?
