Q: I just bought a 2007 Honda Civic coupe with the built in Navigation dash...Now im thinking that the dealership should have provided this Dvd... I am trying to figure out if this cd will let me play movies on my cd player because under the cd insert, theres a dvd insert... And above the cd there is a PC insert which I have no idea what that is for.. So basically my question is where can I find this dvd to setup my navigation and that isnt 195.00 bucks!!!! And does my unit play dvds.... If anybody has this Navigation system in there civic or honda please let me know... THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A: You are absolutely correct. The Navigation DVD should have come with the vehicle. It is the backbone of the system! Unless you bought the vehicle "As Is", you should have been provided the disc. To answer your question about the ability to play movies, the answer is no. The system is specifically set up to read only the Honda Navigation DVD. The PC insert is for you to be able to load a sound card with music and play through the audio system on the vehicle. I hope this answers your question.
