Q: which is better?
A: I wouldnt get either. But if I had to pick I would get the suburban because someone I know had an Explorer that had a V8 and towpackage with only 27,000 miles on it, then the transmission died out on him. And he took very good care of it. We own a ford thats on its 3rd transmission. So I don't trust Fords Transmissions. But in the end, I would probably get the one with better MPG.
