citroen ax 1.0 timing belt slack?

Q: i had a new timing belt done on my citroen ax 1.0 15k ago. noticed the other day the engine seems a bit tappy and noticed a noise from the cam cover. I took it off and noticed my cam belt seems to be a bit slack but im not sure how slack its ment to be. you can move it roughly half an inch in. When i had the belt done i also had the tensioner replaced to. Does anyone know if it needs to be adjusted due to it now clocking up 15k? or any info would help.

A: PSA have a specific tool for checking the timing belt tension. Ask the garage if they used the proper tool. If not, take it to a Peugeot/Citroen dealer and ask them to set the belt to the correct tension. The haynes manual gives an approximate tension, but says to take it to the dealer straight after for proper tensioning.
