Chrysler 300, Where do these

Q: I just checked the consumer index regarding the fuel economy of the Chrysler 300 and it's only rated at 26mpg freeway. What are they talking about? I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 and it gets 34mpg on the freeway. That's quite different than what is claimed with 26mpg Class 4 it's a 6 cylinder model, not 8 cylinder

A: The EPA tests and rates all vehicles sold in the US using a standard test. Since everybody drives under different conditions your results will vary. You must be going very slow to get 34 mpg for such a heavy car though.
