how can i improve my horsepower on my 97z28 camaro?

Q: does changing the intake help? whats the best ways to get more horsepower?

A: if you don't want to spend a lot of money then get a K&N intake...increases power by a decent bit...at least 5-10 horses...a low resistance exhaust (flowmaster, etc.) will add another 10-20 horses...carbon fiber driveshaft can add 5-15 horses, all these stats are assuming that you have the 5.7 LT1 engine which is what came stock in the 97 camaro's.
