Q: and the radio absolutley sucks and is all static. how can i fix it quick?
A: my mom has a 99 malibu that had the same problem. we found the problem to be the antenna wire where it runs though floor board just in front of the passenger side door was damaged. check your connection on the radio. if thats not it then the plastic panel on the passenger side is easy to pull out and check your wire there. all we had to do was move the wire a couple of inches in and haven't had a problem since
