Q: What kind of power steering fluid should I use for 1990 bmw 325i automatic tranny?
A: Power steering fluid.. Look at the power steering cap, it will tell you the type of fluid need to fill or refer to your owner manual if you still have it. I am thinking the same type you use for your transmission (Mercon/Dextron III).
