Q: I TURN MY CAR ON AND AFTER DRIVING OFF LIKE 2 MINUTES THE ABS LIGHT TURNS ON ALSO ANOTHER LIGHT THAT HAS A TRIANGLE TURNS ON WHAT COULD BE MY PROBLEM????
A: Your car's ABS and ASC (traction control ) checklights are coming on due to faults in the said systems. Usually, this is due to a faulty or dirty wheel speed sensor. Ocassionally, the ABS/ASC control module goes bad also and have to be replaced (& thereafter coded). Diagnosis preferably should be with a BMW GT1 scanner specially if the defect is not with the wheel speed sensors but instead is with the control module (it is costly).
