Q: How can I turn it off? How much will it cost me to fix it? Can it just be a sensor problem?
A: Airbag system is malfunctioning. My airbag light has been on for two years and I have had three BMW mechanics tell me no worries, unless you are in a crash. The system prevents the airbag from deploying at all unless you go digging into the dash or something stupid like that. We all drove for years without airbags and we are all still alive, so I am not too worried.
