Q: my e39 is due mot in the next few weeks. but the driver side headlight has started steaming up and this is an mot no no. does anyone know how it fix this i have looked the usel rubber seals and they look fine. think the water is geting in somewere else. do you know how to take the outer lens off the inside deflector. i cant see were it comes apart. tho i can get the back off it. i know to take the headlight out. i have done so.
A: you have to take the whole headlight off the car and then it will be easier to see how it comes apart and where the problem is silicone sealant works well
