Q: hi - i've got a 2005 320d (E90) with business sat nav which i want to upgrade to the 2007-2 version. will it work in my car? is it as simple as just putting the new DVD in? thanks!
A: If you mean updating your Map data, then you just insert the DVD and you are done. But updating the firmware, or the software that runs the NAV itself is a different matter. For this, you need the updating software (not the Map) which only the dealer has. But this is just a few minutes time of work.
