Q: its a 1998 audi a4 used for about 3k it runs good. are audi cars good?
A: I have a 1998 Audi A6 Quattro that I drive right now with about 75,000 miles which runs good. Although replacement parts do cost a lot and repairs can be costly. Lets just say that if you make at least $35,000 a year and live by yourself you should be okay. If you are going to buy an Audi you have to make sure you keep up with the service checks and replace certain parts when recommended. Plus I put Regular 87 gasoline in my Audi and runs perfect, no problems what so ever. Not unless you have a Turbo engine or a V8 then Premium is a waste of money.
