Q: im looking to buy about a '01 to a '04. what are your opinions on these cars? are they reliable?? and how is the service on the audi's?
A: No. They are reliable mechanically. Like all German brands, inclucing BMW and Mercedes and VW, they have electrical problems. Fuses, light bulbs burning out fast, power windows getting stuck. I have driven the Audi A4 many times and have not experienced any of these problems, but the consumer reviews tell you about those common problems. Their engines will last long. Maintenance is very expensive since the parts are shipped from Germany and are not made here.
