Q: I was looking on cars-stuff website and autopartswarehouse website and they both have this part W0133-1608107 mass air flow sensor to fit a 2000 A6 quattro 4.2 and the A8 quattro 4.2 from 2000 to 2003. But it doesnt say anything about fitting my car the 2001 A6 quattro 4.2. Do you think that would fit. When I call those website they act stupid so i need a expert opinion.
A: Audi tends to use one part for several cars, i.e. the 1.8t engine is used it the TT and the A4. You already looked up that the part numbers are the same, so it will fit. Your style of car (C5) went from '98 to '04 so most parts from those years should fit given that it has the same package.
