Q: The other day I noticed my headlights on my 1998 Audi A4 stoped working. I checked the fuses and the bulbs and all are ok. Before I take it to the dealership and get ripped off by labor fees, is there a easy fix someone knows or what the problem could be? Everything else works fine its just when you turn the headlights on and the high beams, I can pull the leavor towards me for manual high beams. Seems very weird! The dealership charges $135 an hour just to find out what the problem is not including the labor hours fixing it. Any help is appreciated!!

A: The diagnostics suck and are expensive. Sometimes you just have to shell out and face the facts. I just experienced the same thing. Is your time worth more than the 135/hr to go to a few different place to see if they can fix it? $135/hr? That's too much. I have Mercedes Benz and they don't even charge that much. I live in Chicago where everything is a rip off.
