Q: I am looking to replace the front door speakers in my 2001 audi A4 and i was wondering if the speaker covers pop off or if i have to remove part of the door. I didnt wanna pop them off and break them so i figured i should check. Also the center display on the dashboard between the RPM and MPH gauges is starting to go. When the gas light comes on you can only see like half the gas pump symbol, what do i do to have this fixed? thanks!!!
A: Your 2001 A4 will have to have the door panels removed in order to replace the door speakers. As for the cluster, if the centre multi function display (the one between the speedo and the tach) is starting to lose pixels, you will have to replace the whole cluster as these parts are only available as one sealed unit.
