Q: I know audis are expensive to fix in general and i dont need to replace it yet but i was just curious to how much it would be to replace the clutch on my car. The dealership told me it would be about 2000. Is that roughly what it will cost no matter if i go to another auto shop.

A: I have an '05 A4 and from what I've heard from other people with Audi's, it'll probably run you somewhere around $1,500 to $2,000. Not cheap for a well-engineered German dream machine. You do get what you pay for however, and if you take care of the new clutch, it should last you a while. Best of luck!
