Q: i tried 2 jump it and it would only charge up 2 8volts and as soon as i took the portable charger off it dies.so ofcourse car didnt even start i bought this battery maybe 1 year ago maybe there is a problem with my cables but if so wouldnt the dealer or people who installed it tell me i take it 2 the dealer 4 check ups anyway i dont want 2 keep wastin $120.00 SO IF ANY1 CAN RECOMEND A BATTERY THAT WILL LAST I WILL BE GRATEFULL
A: If you bought the battery a year ago, there is a pro-rated warranty on it. Secondly, have the alternator looked at. The battery shouldn't be draining power, unless you have some accessory on that is tapping out the battery. Why are you throwing money at problems hoping that they will get solved. Get the car's electrical checked out, and you will be saving in the long-run. As for a battery, I recommend Bosch.
