Q: its at 100,000miles and i just bought this car and i dont know if the previous owner used synthetic or not so mobile suggests i use mobile 1 0W-40 will this be ok in the summer time and winter? im in chicago and summer is almost here what do u guys think?
A: 5/30 is but 10/30 will work. Mobil 1 is always a plus. Make sure what ever you use it meets VW/Audi standards for 1998. API-SJ, API-SL, API-SM
