Q: the manual says 12v-55w i got some that are xenon 12v-100w will it take up alot of battery or damage anything?
A: Highly NOT recommended! These cars (like many Volkswagen's) are known for wiring problems. You are bound to cook a module, relay, fuse, wire, switch, etc. If you don't care if your power windows, power locks, sunroof (if equipped), interior lights, engine not starting anymore or worse yet, an electrical fire is worth it, then do it but in time you may have to dispose of them anyway and maybe the whole car! Just be sure the doors are unlocked when your driving it (if they still work after installing the lights) because you may have to get out of it fast and run before it explodes.
