Q: I have a Audi TT 2003 1.8L FWD Automatic. Does any one know of a shop that could get and install a manual tranny on it? Do you know about how much it would cost? Also once I got that upgrade I know I would be pretty set on upgrading power so where could I get the best aftermarket stuff like air intake, turbo, etc. Please help.
A: It would be cost prohibitive to attempt this change. I would guess $5000.00 plus. My recommendation would be to sell this car and purchase a 225 HP TT Quattro with a 6 speed manual trans.
