Q: I know a guy who's selling an Audi 5000. It is a Quattro Turbo. He says it has 200k miles, and he wants 700 dollars. Can you tell me any experience you had or suggestions?
A: i own an 88 5000 non turbo but it is quattro. it has center and rear diff lock witch means it is impossible to get stuck. matter of fact it is our "truck" around here because ive pulled a few cars out of muddy feilds and ditches... cuz here in kansas there is alot of those. dont worry about the miles, the engine is very reliable. parts are a tad expensive and hard to find. mine has 152000K miles. ive decided to keep it because its my first car, and is also a classic. my opinion is its worth it.
