Difference between 2000 Audi A4 2.8 (FWD) and 2000 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (AWD)?

Q: Difference between 2000 Audi A4 2.8 (FWD) and 2000 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (AWD) In 0 to 60 acceleration, which model is faster: A4 2.8 with front wheel drive or A4 2.8 Quattro with All-Wheel Drive Please give the statistics if possible, Thanks.

A: The FWD model is probably (slightly) faster in straight acceleration time - due to lower weight. However, that said - you probably won't find very many FWD A4s in North America - I'd say overall, 2/3 of the Audi's shipped to North America are AWD models. The Quattro brand and identity for Audi is pretty strong and most Audi buyers select the models for their AWD handling characteristics - traction, stability, dynamics over just straight line acceleration.
