Q: Hey anybody does knows how to change the spark plugs on an audi a4 96? I bought the spark plugs because i thought it would be easy to change them but now i see that is not that easy. I had changed them in different cars; toyotas, hondas, mitsubishis. Never on an audi, seems like its different. any help will be really appreciated. Thank you in advance Israel

A: I never done it on this Audi. But most cars has a plastic cover to make the engine look good. Just remove the cover. To be honest, these cars has spark plugs that last at least 100,000 miles. Most of the people that buy the car and if is kept passed that mileage, they will change plugs 1 time during the ownership. Even the cheapest car in the market has those types of plugs. These cars are Low Maintenance and is basically a fluid check and that is all to it. Major maintenance are, Spark Plugs, Oxygen Sensor/s, Timing Belts, Clutch Adjustment (if any in manual) and those kinds of things. Or take it to the dealer and let the tech bust his or her knuckles. You are going to do this once.
