A: People make the Audi's out to be worse than they are in terms of reliability. They are not a Honda or a Toyota, but at the same time, they blow modern BMW's and Benz's out of the water in terms of cost of ownership. Like the previous answer, the 1.8turbo is supposedly unreliable, while I'm sure it is less reliable than the non-turbo V6 (which I have in my A4), it is better on gas, and it's tuning capabilities are infinite.
