Maybe Buying a Used 2000 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro?? But a Little Hesitant?

Q: So I need a new car. I would LOVE to get this car!! Love it. It has everything I want in a car. Here is some basic info- $7500 (about) Engine: 2.8L V6 FI DOHC 30V (haha I have no idea what that means..) Miles: 98,275 Automatic Transmission And a lot of bonus things that will help with safety and such. That price is right in my price range. I want this car so much! But is it realiable? Is it safe???? Will it not break down on the middle of the highway?? Is it fuel efficient? **HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK REPAIRS (ON AVERAGE) ARE GOING TO COST PER YEAR?*** That is my main concern. I am a safe driver, I have never gotten into an accident or a speeding ticket or anything. But I mean like headlights and such.. how much are they going to cost me?? And by the way, I am a student and I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get this. What are the best reasons I should get this. And then sadly, do you think I should get this car??? A: Audi are very safe and fun cars and are beautiful. Unfortunately, they haven't been the most reliable cars around... 98k miles is alot on a car to buy used so you your due diligence ( CARFAX report, have car independently inspected ) . Please also note that repairs on Audi are very expensive. Check the link for user reviews of that car... the way i approach used cars, if I can deal with the worst review and the worst case scenario, then I feel ok to buy the car... good luck ...
