A: Firstly, I wouldn't condon driving with a broken/non functional turbocharger. That's no good for your car. As long as the vehicle is equipped with Quattro (if you live in snowy conditions) I endorse it. I'm not a fan of FWD Audi's. Reliability is good, much better than the E46 BMW 3 series of that year, and the Mercedes Benz C-Class. If you decide to get one try to push for a 3.0, they're faster than the 1.8T.
