Q: How much horsepower will a chip increase the horsepower for my audi a4 2.0T ? Also what are other means of making this car faster? Intake, exhaust , blowoffvalve etc
A: keep in mind this car is not designed to handle several hundreds of hp... a chip will usually give you around 30 crank hp and 60-90 lbs of torque ... with a chip you will want to do i diverter valve NOT A BLOWOFF VALVE! you really need to list out your power goals... b/c it can range from chip and D/V to new turbo, (dont need intake its a waste of 300), up pipe, down pipe, cat back exhaust (cbe runs around 1000+)... always keep in mind... the higher the hp+tq, the lower the reliability... many people are fine with just a chip and D/V.... but WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT EVER TURN YOUR AUDI INTO A RICER... ITS A CAR OF CLASS
