A: I'll buck the trend and say the BMW! I don't like Audis, they're dull things to drive, and an 1800cc A4 will be a very slow thing indeed, given it weighs about a ton and a half. A Beemer is a much better car, better made, it does better in customer surveys (mainly because the dealers are usually excellent), and it's a properly nice car to drive. I've owned both, and I'd never have an Audi again.
