Q: i bought a line out converter but i don't want to take the radio out is it possible to intall it with out taking the radio out??
A: I have a 99 A4 and I just pulled my radio the other day. It actually has line output pins that may or may not be in use on your car, depending on whether you have a Bose sound system or not. You'll definitely have to remove the radio in order to get to speaker or line level connectors though, unless you want to tap off the speaker connections in or near the doors. You can get a tool to remove the radio for around 5 dollars on Ebay.
