Q: I am looking for recommendations on tires that are good in the snow and rain as well as dry weather. I am a "spirited" driver who has had P6s (suck--gone in 10,000 miles) and Toyo Proxes (great). Alternatives? Size is 215/55 16. Thanks.
A: Kumho makes the Ecsta ASX which is an ultra-high performance all-season tire that carries a 30k warranty. Price is pretty fair too. Michelin makes the Hydroedge tire which is better but cost quite a bit more.
