Q: want to swap a carbed 383 small block chevy in audi 90 quattro, i want to know if this differential can handle the 450 hp,torque,480ft/pnd, and if the trans cant handle , the diferential can, so i can put a th 350 and use with torsen differential, i dont care if i have to cut some metal., thanx
A: No it will not. Might as well and install a GM drive train from a Chevy AWD Astro or Olds Bravada AWD Drivetrain. All will be matched. The 4.3 Vortec is the same as a 3/4 of a 350 Mouse Motor. That will take care of that issue and will bolt on all the parts. The Audi system is too odd for that motor or the motor is too odd for the car. Depending how you want to look at it.
