Q: I have an acura rsx type s The VTEC hits at 6 rpm's red lines at 8 is it bad to go up to 7 rpm? I also have AEM air intake, DC headers, and after market exhaust what next few mods should I get next?
A: you can easily hit the rev limiter and nothing be wrong with that engine. it is so strong...the strongest vtec...max hp is at 7200 rpms anyway so when racing, you should prob shift around then. you should probably get some other basic bolt ons like throttle bodies and then go for the engine...cams, flywheel, make it even stronger, then turbocharge
