Q: I have a 91 Acura Integra motor (B18a1) in my 94 integra. Someone has a B18b1 Ported Intake Manifold from a 94 and up integra motor. If I get the intake manifold from a b1 will it fit my a1? I know there are alot of things you can do with b series, such as any b series head will fit on any b block. I'm just wondering if the intake manifolds have the same compatability?
A: it will fit but the pcv valve port and hose is routed differently than the b18a1 so you'll need the b18b1 valve cover. plus some of the heater hoses that feeds into the throttle body, idle sensor, and controls might need to be re-arrange or replaced with longer ones.
