Q: I have a 2004 Acura TSX, recently my drivers side window stopped working. Does anyone know how much it would cost to fix? When I hit the button for it to go down u can hear the motor running but the window will not go down. Please help thanks

A: It's the window regulator. I don't know about Acuras, but I had the driver's side window regulator replaced on my wife's BMW 325iT this spring, and it cost just over $300 at a local independent garage. I assume you have checked to make sure it's out of warranty. Acuras do have a 4 year warranty, but if you bought late in 2003 or early in 2004, you're on your own. Ditto if your mileage is over the limit.
