A: As long as you keep the cat on. Exhaust tail pipes dont effect the emmisions. It is illegal in california to have a modified exhaust even if its carb legal, I get hassled for my magnaflow which is state legal in california. Just keep the cat on and you should pass just fine. Ive been to the state ref a bunch of times and he said as long as you keep the cat on you will pass smog.
