Q: Looking to possibly trade in a 2000 Acura tl listed 'salvaged' in Seacoast area of NH. The transmission needs to be replaced for a 92,000 K(est.) 2000 Acura 3.2 tl. I don't have money to replace tranny and i feel that the best way out is to get a newer used or newer car. I have an existing car loan as well.
A: Good luck Most dealers will not take a car that is not driveable UNLESS you are willing to let it go for $100 towards your trade in. Salvaged title will hurt you too. Still owe on it....they can add the amount on toyour new loan
