A: You are correct that the 2000-2003 Acura CL and TL had huge transmission issues. If you decide to buy one of these, I would see if you can review the service records to make sure the transmission was serviced (fluids flushed or at least drained) once or twice. Acura's solution to these transmission problem on the TL was the 2004 TL, which is the current generation. The solution to the CL problems was that they quit making it.
