Q: hey i was looking at the apexi N1 and thw world sport cat back exhausts for my acura integra. but im worried that they dont meet the sound level (decible level) requirements which im pretty sure is 95db. would anyone be albe to give me some info on these mufflers or some comparable ones with deep sound that might meet decible levels if these dont?
A: Ask yourself: Do I like it loud (N1) or not as loud (WS). The WS is also cambered which contributes a lot to it's quietness. In turns, less flow (compared to N1) and quieter. The N1 is a straight through design with little absorption materials. In turns, better flow and a lot louder. One option is if you really like the N1, ask an exhaust shop to weld on the longest and biggest resonator they can fit in there. That will kill a lot of the noise as well. Good luck!
