Q: I was driving and a half mile down the road it spuddered then quit excellerating. It turns over and doesnt seem to be an electical issue but I was thinking it may be the computer? So I would guess a fuel issue. The fuel filter is easy to get to so I checked and it seems to be getting fuel. That would rule out the pump and filter. Then the line going to the fule injector seems to go into a secondary/suppressor filter?. I took that off and it seems to be clogged. Im going to replace it however, Im pestimistic and I believe it may be something more envolved. Anyone ran into this issue??
A: I had an 87 w/62000 mi. and I had to have the fuel injectors replaced do to them just being old and I did drive it to the shop poping and limping it's way down the road.
