Q: It is known that Honda has was slacking when it was building automatic V6 transmissions from early 90s to 2000s, however how were the manual transmissions. I've always known that Honda manual transmissions are bulletproof. Has anyone had experience with a manual transmission V6 Acura Legend? How are they? I am just curious if a manual swap in an auto would be smart. Thanks! O'Doyle RULEZ!

A: My brother waited a long time for the dealer to get him a Legend with a 5-speed. It was hard to find, but bulletproof. He never drove anything but a stick, though, so it would be hard for him to hurt it. The only thing harder than finding one was getting rid of it. He lost thousands of dollars selling it. Seriously. NOBODY wants a used Legend with a manual transmission. If you do this, plan on driving it until the thing turns to rust in the wind.
