Q: Trying to figure out why my insurance is so damn high... Anyone else own early-mid 90's integra? Just curious, how's your gas mileage? How do you like these cars overall? This is my second car & still fairly "new"... I totaled my first car in a bad accident within like 2-3 months. Thanks =) My old car was a '93 civic, I loved it. Okay A) I don't suck at driving, a woman hit into ME going 55+ mph when I totaled my car. B) It's not a stick, so please don't assume I'm some stupid, little girl who knows jack sh*t about cars, I've just heard people say having my kind of car makes my insurance go up because it's considered a "sports car"... just seeing if they were right/wrong.
A: No it is NOT a sports car. I own a 94 Civic and I only pay about $400 per year (liability only). Your rates could be higher because of where you live and /or your driving record. My MPG is fantastic (just did 41 MPG on Boston to NYC trip - 210.5 miles on just 5.112 gallon) Good Luck...
