Q: I have almost 8K miles on it . . . when my car first hit the 5K mark my A1 light came on -- I went to dealership and they wanted to charge me $90 for the A1 service (tire rotation plus oil change). I ended up just getting the oil change. But I am a bit confused, when I first bought the car I could've sworn that the salesperson old me that I would not need to get an oil change until every 7K mile, is that true? Also, how often should I get my tires rotated? I keep hearing different answers, some tell me 7K some tell me 10K . . .

A: Open the glove compartment. Inside you will find a booklet call the "Owners Manual." Read it and follow the recommended service schedule..
