Q:

A: Replace the idle air control motor, component sits under the throttle body, would highly recommend to replace it with Acura part. You need a 12mm socket to remove the throttle body,be careful as not to damage the gasket,is not necessary to remove linkage but disconnect any electrical connectors as not to stress the wiring, remove two coolant lines from the IAC motor, flip the t/body and remove the screws to remove the IAC,replace the gasket, install the new motor and reassemble in reverse order. disconnect the battery for 10 to 20 seconds to clear code, start and run the engine @ 3000 rpm until the coolant fans come on then let idle for two fan cycles,to set idle learn. Idle Learn is very important and something alot of Techs don't perform and wannabe's don't know about. Good Luck
