Q: ok this question was basically answered, but i need more opinions plus i didnt like the answers given. im looking to put a vtec in a 94 acura integra. and im debating between the b16 and the b18. someone says the b16 breathes easier? but the b18 have more power. im always taking trips to canada and new york so im thinking the b16 but i want power!!!!!!!!! help please :-(
A: motor swap or head swap. head swap you wont notice the difference between the 2 on a basically stock car. motor swap... get the gsr motor, b18c1, yes it has a little more top end than the b16 but the reason i say get the gsr motor is because you will need the torque in that integra. integras are heavy, 2500ish pounds, civics are 4-500 punds lighter. you will want the bottom end power in a daily driven car.
