Q: I'm looking for both short and long term fixes. How much would it cost if I brought it to a mechanic to fix?
A: hopefully just the inside lever came detached. look behind it for a metal cord. if you see it pull on it with some pliers to get it hooked back on. if it came apart from under the hood... then thats gonna be a pain.
