A: 8500k are not very bright. the best temperature for brightness would be around 4300K (which is the same color temp as the sun). going lower or higher than that, you would just be losing brightness, but gaining color. around 3000k is yellow 4300-5000k would be crispy white with a slight blue tint (similar to that of an infiniti or nissan with HIDs) 6000-8000k would be light bluish to very blue (similar to that of a BMW or mercedes) 13000k would be almost pink But to answer your question again, they would be significantly brighter than your stock halogen projectors, but wouldn't be at its' fullest potential. And it would DEFINATELY be blue during they day.
